One of those humble talented chef.

Way way back when i was labelled as a trainee, i have met a chef who was and still an inspiration to me, who taught me what is passion for cooking.  Coming from a French Culinary background, he is now working on his dream. He currently owns restaurant of his own, Ray's Kitchen.

Classic Mint Lamb

This classic dish of lamb is one of those simple dish that can go wrong if it falls to the wrong hands but since it was handled with care, it came out superb. The balance of mint and vinegar of the sauce suited very well with the lamb that was cook at the right texture.  *drools*

Smoked Chicken thigh served with Lemongrass gravy

 I wonder how long did he smoke this chicken, seriously.... the smokiness of this dish was so fragrant and lovely with a hint of unavoidable smell of nature and it was scrumptiously delicious. The gravy, if i am not mistaken is the combination of blended chili and lemongrass, and no doubt about it that it suits very well with the smokiness of the chicken. aaanndddd.... you know what? the smoke even seeps through the bone! Even the bone was sexily smoking!

It was a small great meal thanks to the old friend of mine and hope to meet him again anytime soon. I wish him all the best in his business in future.
